Today I opened a new print on demand shop at Fine Art America.
Now you can buy my artworks at Redbubble , Society6 , Spreadshirt , Threadless, teepublic and Fine Art America.
Honestly, I sold one beach towel. I’m so thankful for this one and only customer! Although I run at least six print on demand shops, I am still not a successful seller.
There are so many great artist out there, selling fantastic artworks, presenting them on websites and social media. There are so many marketplaces online, it’s overwhelming.
Self-marketing is a huge challenge. I’m not used to that. And until now I’m failing….
But I won’t give up!
In my current, very different job, I managed to be my own brand. How? I have a very close and intense relationship to my customers. They need my services and appreciate them. The price is low. There are not much competitors.
Selling my own artwork is so different. I have to evolve different strategies. People are not seeking for me. I have to seek for them. And I have to be interesting.
Challenging, especially when you are an introvert. Like me.
